Let me re-introduce myself! Hi I am Cam...

After a lovely weekend at the Rockabilly Rave, It occurred to me that maybe I should reintroduce myself…. So I am! ……

Hi, I’m Cam, and Bow & Crossbones is my business of nearly 20 years! 

It was my 1st baby, until my son came along nearly 3 years ago.

As some of you know, I closed B&C doors for a short period of time, so I could spend as much time with our little one as possible! During that period of time, I got married to my best friend, bought a house and have lots of wonderful memories with my son.

Not many of you know that we experienced a quite traumatic birth, ( I think every birth is traumatic not belittling anyone else's story/journey.)

He arrived early, early enough to be premature. We weren't ready, ( like you could ever be ready?!) As you can imagine. Carley and Taz took over for a few months whilst I dove into motherhood. I quickly realised I needed more time with Bubs. I was lucky enough and I took it! 

I am now back. Still dealing with the what if’s and scar pain. But I am here, ready to begin a new chapter of Cam the Mom, who does.. X,y, z. Rather than just “ mommy”. Motherhood is amazing, it’s certainly the hardest thing I’ve ever done, But so worth it!

I feel very lucky in life and that's me!
