If you’re new around here, let us give you the inside scoop on how we came to provide our quality reproduction accessories to vintage fans around the globe.

Beginning as one woman creating her own original handmade jewellery from her home in the Midlands, Bow & Crossbones soon proved popular with like-minded folks. After it’s launch in June 2008, Bow & Crossbones very quickly became a well known fixture of the hotrod and rockabilly circuit. Since then, their luxury reproduction accessories and original vintage finds have taken the business truly global. Bow & Crossbones now sells to unique peeps around the world that aren’t afraid to flaunt their vintage style.

Bow & Crossbones has a longstanding love of all things vintage, retro and kitsch which infuses each piece with a true timeless vibe. Our products are inspired by and in many cases reproduced from, original period pieces. We finish every item with only the best quality findings, ensuring an accurate vintage look.

Our HQ is now in the UK vintage style capital of Margate, Kent - so Bow & Crossbones is well placed for absorbing the best retro inspiration and bringing you the most distinctive reproduction accessories finished to the very highest standards.

The confetti filled Justine range

Ranges like our Justine collection feature glittering confetti filled earrings, brooches and necklaces which evoke the true atomic era of Lucite jewellery. Opulent yet lightweight, these pieces complete your vintage look in the most authentic way allowing you to leave your irreplaceable period jewellery at home.

Because really - no matter how beautiful it makes us look and feel, original vintage jewellery can be tricky to care for.  Our lighter pieces can be damaged by pollution and heat, or become stained by contact with cosmetics. No one wants to be worried about their stunning face ruining their stunning jewellery, do they? Even the darkest original Bakelite can be sensitive to sunlight, causing your precious finds to discolour or fade. Then temperature changes can cause your period pieces to distort and occasionally even crack when stored incorrectly.

Wear our quality reproduction accessories and save your vintage!

Gorgeous items like our Fay fakelite necklaces are reproduced from original vintage items in our own wardrobe. Dressed up or down these richly marbled bead necklaces are available in a range of rich colours, to complement any outfit.

A personal favourite of this B&C blogger is the Corday range - hand carved translucent resin earrings, brooch and bangles inspired by original period designs. These eye-catching accessories are the perfect finish to your vintage style without compromising your sometimes delicate vintage jewellery.
